The University of Louisiana at Monroe is a coeducational public university located in Monroe, Louisiana, part of the eight-member University of Louisiana system. The school
enrolls 10,100 undergraduates and postgraduates in 96 graduate and undergraduate degree programs.
ULM is the only public school that offers a pharmacy degree in the state of Louisiana. ULM also offers master and doctoral degree programs in
marriage and family therapy. Other programs include
business administration,
health sciences,
psychology, and
agriculture.
The Louisiana-Monroe
athletic teams are the Warhawks, and they participate in the NCAA Division I and I-A for football. ULM is also a member of the
Sun Belt Conference. ULM is home to several award-winning teams, including the competition cheerleading squad, the water ski team, and the marching band.
